On the eve of her 34th birthday, Kelly Clarkson hit Twitter to introduce the newest addition to her young family, Remington. The superstar's first son was born on April 12, and these are the first photos she has shared of him.

"Meet Remy," Clarkson writes, adding the appropriate hashtags #charmfordays and #watchoutladies.

Remington Alexander Blackstock is Clarkson's second child with husband Brandon Blackstock, who has two children from a previous relationship. Remy joins big sister River Rose, who was born in 2014. Clarkson and Blackstock married in 2012.

Clarkson previously said Remy would likely be her last child, as she has difficult pregnancies — something she's been forthcoming about. The pop-country singer didn't keep her pregnancy with Remy a secret, either, announcing the news onstage at her concert in Los Angeles last August.

“I was totally not planning on announcing this, but I’m totally pregnant,” Clarkson told the California crowd. “I’m having a really hard time."

“I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk or something," she joked.

Clarkson also apologized to her husband, as she hadn't intended to share that she was pregnant that night.

“I’d like to apologize to my husband. That was not planned. I just didn’t want you to think I was crazy or anything," she added. I’m just so hormonal today … I haven’t vomited yet. That is a freakin’ win."
