Memories of Mom: Heidi Newfield

"My favorite Mother's Day would be when my two sisters and I would take our mom and we'd all gather at my Grandmother's ranch. We'd spend the afternoon cooking a big spread and sitting out on a long table on the wrap around porch. It was absolutely beautiful. We had all the moms there, my sisters and their kids, my aunt and my cousin. We'd always start the day with a long ride up on the ranch on horses. Then we'd come down and cook, drink wine and talk over each other. It was the best!" - Heidi Newfield
