Mickey Guyton is getting the experience of a lifetime as a country newcomer. The "Better Than You Left Me" singer is on the road as an opener for Brad Paisley's 2015 Crushin' It tour, and she tells Taste of Country Nights that she even got to take a shot at the superstar's onstage bar!

“He actually had me go up there and you take a shot of Jack," Guyton explains to us. "I actually put it on my Periscope, I might have it somewhere. You can just see my hand grab it and drink it, it was all bad, but it was so much fun being up there. He is so awesome!”

Apparently, being on the road with a guy like Paisley is a total blast. Guyton is even getting some stage time with the star, performing a duet of "Whiskey Lullaby," a song originally done with Alison Krauss. The "Crushin' It" singer proposed the idea of singing together to Guyton during the ACM Awards, and she couldn't say no!

“It was my official time of introducing myself to him. He’s sitting there and he goes, ‘So I’m thinking You, Me, ‘Whiskey Lullaby’ every night?’ I was like, ‘Uh ... yeah!' I mean, I’m not going to be able to sing it like Ms. Alison Krauss, but I will do my best to represent her the best way I possibly can.”

Even though Guyton and Paisley do the duet almost nightly, she still gets nervous when it comes time to take the stage.

“It’s so awesome — like right when I’m done with my performance I’m feeling good and my nerves are over, and as soon as I stand on stage and he finishes ‘American Saturday Night’ and that’s when I know I’m about to start singing ... I’m like, ‘Oh my God. My stomach!'" she admits. "I’m nervous all over again."

Mickey Guyton is on the road with Brad Paisley until October.
