Country newcomer Mickey Guyton is preparing to release her debut EP this month. The eponymous project will feature four songs, including her hot single "Better Than You Left Me."

The Texan had a hand in writing two of the four songs, including her debut single. She also co-wrote "Pretty Little Mustang" with Hilary Lindsey and Jeremy Spillman. Well-known songwriters Luke Laird and Ashley Gorley penned additional tracks. Laird produced one, ("Somebody Else Will") while Nathan Chapman is responsible the remainder. Mickey Guyton will be released on May 26.

When "Better Than You Left Me" was released in January, it set a record for most radio station adds for a debut artist. It currently sits inside the Top 40. The ballad tells Guyton's own story of a boy she kept going back to despite being treated poorly. Prior to the ACM Awards, she revealed she's doing better these days and is in a longterm relationship with a lawyer who lives in California.

Look for Guyton on Brad Paisley's Crushin' It tour when it begins May 15 in Camden, N.J. Justin Moore is also on the tour. In January, Guyton made Taste of Country's list of 10 new artists to watch in 2015. See the full list below.
