Miranda Lambert snagged one of the biggest awards of the night at the 2017 ACM Awards: Album of the Year.

Popular country radio host Bobby Bones and "I Told You So" singer Darius Rucker presented the award to Lambert for her No. 1, double-disc album The Weight of These Wings. Holding her head in her hands after hearing her name called, Lambert accepted congratulations from the members of Little Big Town before making her way to the stage for her acceptance speech.

"I just want to say thank you for letting me use my heartbreak," Lambert said of the album, thanking her father Richard Lee Lambert. She also offered up the microphone to members of her team. Frank Liddell, the producer of The Weight of These Wings, commended the country superstar for being willing "to look deep into her soul" and turn her life into art, while offering advice to aspiring songwriters. "Tell the truth, it's more interesting," he says.

The Weight of These Wings topped the country charts after its 2016 release. It includes the hit single "Vice" which is nominated for Video of the Year and Song of the Year at the 52nd annual awards show. It was also up for Single Record of the Year, which went to  Florida Georgia Line's "H.O.L.Y." Lambert is also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.
