Miranda Lambert Walks the ACM Awards Red Carpet With Boyfriend Anderson East
Lambert won two awards at the ACM Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year for the seventh straight year. She also picked up Vocal Event of the Year for "Smokin' and Drinkin'," her collaboration with Little Big Town, and sang ZZ Top's "Tush" with the band's Billy Gibbons and Keith Urban.
Prior to the show, Lambert wore a yellow satin gown with plunging neckline on the red carpet, while East looked traditional in a dark suit and tie over a white shirt. Lambert took several photos on her own, but many others with her boyfriend of several months. The pair began dating in the fall and made it official over the holidays. Since then they've been spotted out together or at shows. She even turned up to sing with him during a recent concert.
This was the first awards show Lambert attended since news that she was dating East became public. The singer and Blake Shelton divorced in July 2015 and has mostly kept a low profile since. She's said she's been writing a lot for a new album, even hinting that some of her pain from the previous 12 months could make its way onto the record.
