Miranda Lambert's song 'Automatic' from her album 'Platinum' has struck a chord with lots of fans. In fact, she recently gathered her sixth No. 1 solo single with the song that includes a message urging others to slow things down and enjoy the moment.

“When we wrote this song, we knew it was special, and when it came time to decide on what would be the first single, ‘Automatic’ felt like the right choice because it’s so true to me and where I am in my life,” Lambert says. The song hit No. 1 on the Mediabase chart. It remains at No. 3 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. No female solo artist has hit No. 1 there since October 2012.

She helped co-write the single, and it rings true to the season of life she's in now -- even (and perhaps especially) amidst all the busyness of her new record, the CMA Music Fest, and a memorable performance with George Strait on his last tour stop. The song and accompanying music video urge others to slow down and to enjoy the simplest things in life.

“This song is all about living in the now, and enjoying it, and I’m so grateful that people have responded so positively to it. I like simple things, and that’s how we live, and this song brings it back to that,” the 30-year-old country star concludes.

Lambert now has six No. 1 solo singles to her name -- and one additional with Keith Urban for their duet 'We Were Us.' Soon, the singer will be living life from the road, when her Platinum Tour kicks off July 10 in Ft. Loramie, Ohio.
