Miranda Lambert, soon to be Mrs. Blake Shelton, is packing her bags and heading to Louisville with her closest girlfriends in tow. The 'White Liar' singer will make her trip to the Kentucky Derby a double-whammy by celebrating her bachelorette party the same weekend.

Lambert and some of her country music peers, including Montgomery Gentry, Kix Brooks, Wynonna Judd, and Travis Tritt, will be attending the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala on May 6 as well, according to the Courrier-Journal in Louisville. The black-tie event takes place the night before the 137th Annual Kentucky Derby.

In addition, music stars from other genres -- namely the Jonas Brothers, Run DMC, Nick Lachey, and Joey Fatone of 'N Sync -- will come to the event in Kentucky to help raise money for the University of Kentucky Barnstable Brown Diabetes and Obesity Research Center.

Before Ms. Lambert and Mr. Shelton say 'I Do' on May 14, the lady-in-white will perform concerts in her home state of Texas, with shows scheduled back-to-back in Abilene, Lubbock, and Tyler at the end of April.

In other news, Lambert recently graced the cover of Health magazine, announced an upcoming collaboration with Loretta Lynn, and debuted a new all-girl country group dubbed Pistol Annies.
