Miranda Lambert’s Hometown Bed and Breakfast Opens for Business
Miranda Lambert is having a great week. Not only was she nominated for an astounding nine CMA Awards, she made a dream come true by opening a bed and breakfast called the Ladysmith in her hometown of Tishomingo, Okla.
The ‘Automatic’ singer revealed her plans for the B&B back in June. It’s situated very near her hometown boutique.
“I bought the building across the street from the Pink Pistol in Tishomingo, Oklahoma,” she says. “It was built in 1901, so it’s been over a year of renovations. It is a bed and breakfast but it’s also an events center, so you can rent it for weddings and showers and private parties and all kinds of stuff. But it does have eight rooms.”
The establishment features a variety of experience packages, including a romantic getaway for two, local outings, therapeutic massages, weddings and more. Each room is specially decorated to a theme, including the Judge, Knaughty Pine, Flutterby, Curtain Call and more.
The property also features a tea room and private dining room, a well-stocked bar and lounge, a casual TV lounge and a self-serve coffee and tea area. The Platinum Ballroom, which is designed to accommodate 60-80 guests for a private event, is slated to open in mid-October.
