As is the case with any celebrity A-List couple, a pregnancy rumor is bound spread like wildfire every now and then. Following a misleading cover story from Life & Style magazine, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton took to their official Twitter accounts to humorously dispel any notion they are expecting a baby anytime in the near future.

"Wow! I just read the headline! 'we are having a baby' yay! @blakeshelton we're getting a new puppy?:)," Lambert tweeted on the popular social media platform. "Don't believe everything you read! I'm having a big 'randarita' right now In honor of the baby we are not yet having! #Sorryfolksparksclosed," added the feisty Texas native.

Shelton also used his sharp-tongued humor shoot down the rumors, joking, "Look, I know I've gained some weight but the test was negative!!!"

The 2012 CMA Entertainer of the Year added, "Hope not.. She's [Lambert] passed out with a bottle of Bacardi in her hands!!!"

Judging from their reactions (and fondness to frozen alcoholic delights), the only new addition to the Shelton-Lambert household looks to be the CMA Song of the Year trophy the couple recently collected together for 'Over You,' the chart-topping tune that served as the second single from Lambert's 2011 'Four the Record' album. The track, co-written by the couple, was inspired by Shelton's late brother, Richie.
