Blake Shelton celebrated his 35th birthday by ... working. He was opening for Brad Paisley in concert this past Saturday, June 18. Shelton's new wife, fellow country star Miranda Lambert, made it special for her hubby as she joined him onstage right after he sang his cover of J. Geils Band's 'Centerfold.'

You can see Lambert at the back of the stage for a few moments before she comes out and takes over to do her thing on the stage, singing 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll' in her signature, sassy style. She was dressed in a summery yet tough ensemble: a black tank, a gold skirt and a black leather vest. She turned the Joan Jett classic into a country jukebox anthem!

She then turned to the crowd and asked them "to sing 'Happy Birthday' to my husband." Lambert lead the crowd through a rendition of the song and even sang, "Happy birthday, Mr. Lambert." Zing!

For once in his sarcastic comment-making life, Blake Shelton looked utterly speechless. Quite a rare occurrence, that's for sure. Lambert planted a big smooch on him, hugged him and then ran offstage so the birthday boy could return to entertaining the crowd!
