Miranda Lambert has enlisted quartet Little Big Town to join her on her latest single “Smokin’ and Drinkin’," and Lambert says she feels a little bad taking them all for herself.

“It’s not really fair to add Little Big Town [to a song] because you’re immediately cooler,” Miranda tells ABC Radio with a laugh.

“You’re like, ‘Ha, ha, I have Little Big Town!’ You automatically have bragging rights if you can say you sang with Little Big Town," the star furthers.

But we’re not entirely sure the band has the short end of the stick on this deal. Lambert is modest, not taking into consideration her own cool factor. The diva has incorporated a bit of an edge into her persona lately, especially with her rockin’ version of “Little Red Wagon” and her definitely-cool side project, Pistol Annies. Her stellar voice and distinctive style has made her one of the top female artists in country — so maybe it’s not just Lambert who’s adding a little “cool” to their resume.

“Smokin’ and Drinkin’” is the latest single from her Grammy-winning album Platinum, and she recently released a lyric video for the laid-back, retrospective ballad.

Unfortunately, Lambert had to cancel a show in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) on July 9 due to serious vocal cord inflammation, but has been playing festivals all summer. She will appear at the upcoming WE Fest, Aug. 6-8. Her official Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour will begin in the fall and feature up-and-comers RaeLynn, Ashley Monroe, Clare Dunn and Courtney Cole. Lambert was also recently named to the Forbes Celebrity 100, making her one of the top-earning celebrities in the world. She tied for No. 95 with husband Blake Shelton.
