Miranda Lambert has racked up her fair share of ACM Awards in her career — the 31-year-old singer has 18 ACM trophies to her name! She's also maintained a record five-year-in-a-row streak for Female Vocalist of the Year.

With the 50th ACM Awards right around the corner, Lambert sat down with Billboard to discuss her current nominations. The talented songstress has been nominated in eight categories at this year's award show, including Entertainer of the Year. And although she's won multiple awards in the past, Lambert insists that the excitement of hearing her name called has never worn off.

"I get butterflies every time I hear my name," she insists. "I'm pinching myself: 'Is this real life?' Growing up, I used a yellow legal pad to write down all the nominees, circle who I thought was going to win before the show and see how many I got right. But I never imagined this at all."

When asked if she has any good luck charms, the sister didn't hesitate.

"My grandmother gave me a ring for my 30th birthday, an amethyst with diamonds. I wore it to the Grammys and [Country Music Association Awards], so I'll probably wear it on ACMs night. It has been good luck so far!" she shares with a smile.

The 2015 ACM Awards will air live on Sunday, April 19, from Arlington, Texas. Lambert's husband, Blake Shelton, will co-host the event alongside Luke Bryan.
