Miranda Lambert won Best Country Album at the 2015 Grammy Awards, but the superstar admits she was "kinda sad" when she saw 'Platinum' among the nominees.

"I was pretty shocked," Lambert says of her reaction. "I was kinda sad when I saw the category, 'cause I was like, 'Mmm, it's pretty tough.' You know? There's some amazing albums in that category and I'm a fan of all of them."

Adds the star, "I'm thrilled to death."

Lambert's 2014 album beat out releases from Eric Church, Brandy Clark, Lee Ann Womack and Dierks Bentley to win the award, and Mrs. Blake Shelton was emotional in her acceptance speech.

"I am so thankful for this. I poured my heart and soul into this record," she told the crowd and viewers at home. She performed her latest single, 'Little Red Wagon,' not long before being named the Grammy winner.

Her husband, Blake Shelton, was in the crowd to offer his support and responded appropriately after her name was called, tweeting:

This isn't the first Grammy for the Texas native. Lambert previously snagged a Grammy trophy for Best Female Country Performance for 'The House That Built Me.'
