Locals from Miranda Lambert's hometown of Lindale, Texas will now have a whole new section of books to peruse. The Lindale Public Library has announced that an area of the facility will be dedicated to the singer, and the topic of all these books couldn't be more appropriate.

Lambert's section is all about animals and pets!

According to the local paper, a new collection of books has just arrived to the library in hopes of bringing attention to a worthy cause and promoting literacy. The section was dedicated to the star on Sunday (Oct. 13). Hopefully, it will get a lot of use and turn the residents into bookworms and pet lovers!

Not did Lambert have a book-filled weekend in her hometown, but she also opened up her newest Pink Pistol store -- the second location of her retail endeavor. The singer tweeted about the event, obviously proud of her huge accomplishment, as she was grinning from ear to ear and wearing pink, of course.
