Miranda Lambert was just a skinny little thing when, at age 19, she auditioned for the first season of 'Nashville Star.' A decade ago, she was simply a Texas girl looking to break into the music business. She's still that girl from the Lone Star State at heart, but as you can see by comparing pictures, she's grown into a confident woman with a mantel full of honors and accolades.

Lambert finished third during the 2003 season of the USA network's singing competition show. She used the next few years to mature as an artist, and then exploded when songs from the 'Revolution' album began to hit radio. Her style continues to separate her from her peers. Everything she wears these days forces one to do a double-take. Like her music, Lambert's fashion choices always carry a sharper edge than that of most female superstars.
