A strong argument could be made that 'Something to Be Proud Of' is Montgomery Gentry's best single to date. The 2005 chart-topper came with a stirring video that relied on computer generation to create soaring effects. The duo perform on the cliff of a canyon while images of the characters they sing about overlap their footage.

Between 2002 and 2009, Troy Gentry and Eddie Montgomery landed 12 songs inside the Top 5 on the country singles charts. It will always be debated if they should have picked up at least one CMA or ACM Award for Duo of the Year during that time, but Brooks and Dunn -- and later, Sugarland -- dominated the category. MG did win Vocal Duo of the Year in 2000.
