Country newcomer Morgan Mills offers a lesson one could use as a motto for the new year in the music video for her new song 'Dance in the Rain.' The clip -- premiered exclusively by Taste of Country -- was filmed in Lebanon, Tenn. at a home Martina McBride, LeAnn Rimes, and Alan Jackson have all used as a video set.

"Cause life ain't about trying to weather the storm / It's about learning to dance in the rain," Mills sings to close the catchy chorus of this uptempo country rocker. The Durham, North Carolina-by-way-of-California singer has been singing and writing songs since age seven, but also has experience as a theater actress and dance studio instructor.

Mills tells Taste of Country she loves taking her music to international audiences. "My favorite part about singing in other countries is getting all the requests for Johnny Cash songs," she says. "They love the Man in Black just as much as we do in the U.S. and I love em' for it!"

The 'Dance in the Rain' video is a farm party, with certain shots paying tribute to the military. The spirit of the song and the video -- produced by Bobby Pinson -- is to keep smiling no matter what cards life deals.

"We can't avoid hard times," Mills says. "To me, this song reminds us to keep a positive outlook no matter what, because there is a reason for everything and always a light at the end of the tunnel."
