Country superstars, up-and-comers, youngsters and legends intermingle in this category of the standout performances in country music in 2018. Who had the best, most jaw-dropping performance of all?

It's time to decide and vote in the 2018 Taste of Country Fan Choice Awards!

Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina set tongues wagging when they performed their No. 1 hit duet, "What Ifs," at the 2018 ACM Awards. The pair ended the emotional performance nose-to-nose, creating an air of intimacy that looked to viewers at home as though they might kiss. (Ed note: They've actually been friends since high school, and at the time Brown was engaged — now married. Alaina is also engaged to someone else.)

Awards shows provided several of the most jaw-dropping performances of the year, including Carrie Underwood's stunning powerful rendition of "Cry Pretty" at the ACMs, which marked her first public appearance since a fall at her home resulted in stitches on her face. Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson also turned in a standout performance at the ACM Awards in 2018, while Garth Brooks kept his brand-new single, "Stronger Than Me," under wraps until he debuted it at the 2018 CMA Awards in November.

Dan + Shay and Ricky Skaggs also turned in stellar performances at the CMA Awards, representing very different ends of the country music spectrum, while the two final jaw-dropping performances of 2018 came out of Taste of Country's RISERS program. Lindsay Ell turned "Criminal" into a stunning one-woman jam and Morgan Wallen revealed an entirely new side of his artistry with a cover of Jason Isbell's "Cover Me Up."
