R&B singer Ne-Yo certainly received a good bit of down-home Southern hospitality when he joined Tim McGraw for a songwriting session a few years ago. He also enjoyed some country cooking from Faith Hill.

"Faith Hill actually made me fried chicken," Ne-Yo told The Huffington Post in a recent interview in Nashville. "She cooked fried chicken for me and it was fantastic. I knew I was coming out here to write, so I was expecting to go to like a studio and hear some skeletal track and then just go from there. I went to Tim and Faith's house. It was me, Tim and a guy with a guitar in the living room as the kids ran around, and it was the greatest writing experience I've ever had in my life."

Ne-Yo recorded 'Only Human' with the country singer for McGraw's 'Emotional Traffic' album, but that's not the only collaboration between the two entertainers. On his album, 'R.E.D.,' which is not to be confused with Taylor Swift's similarly named album, as his R.E.D. stands for Realizing Every Dream,  Ne-Yo co-wrote the tune 'She Is' with songwriter Luke Laird, who has penned numerous hits for Carrie Underwood (including 'Mama's Song,' 'So Small' and 'Temporary Home'). McGraw makes a guest appearance on the track.

During a recent private performance in Nashville, McGraw welcomed Ne-Yo to the stage for a collaboration on both 'Only Human' and 'She Is,' and according to Ne-Yo, it won't be his last visit to Music City.

"We're definitely going to do it again," Ne-Yo said. "I met a lot of very important people in there. I met Tim's management and the Big Machine people, and just expect to see some more of this cross-pollination happening."
