One superstar, one alt-country hero, a classic rocker and one of the most beautiful female voices in the genre are set to release new albums in July 2015. Alan Jackson leads the list, but there's plenty more fine music for fans willing to take a risk.

Ashley Monroe's The Blade comes one week after Jackson's Angels and Alcohol. The singer's sophomore album features "On to Something Good," an surprisingly upbeat country cut from a woman who does heartache as well as anyone. The July 24 release also includes collaborations with Miranda Lambert and Vince Gill.

Jason Isbell is set to release Something More Than Free on July 17. The followup to the critically-acclaimed Southeastern promises to be more celebratory, as the singer says he's in a better place now. On the same day, Jackson releases his new album featuring a very traditional title track. The singer co-wrote most of the songs on his new album.
