Olivia Lane’s cheery new music video for her single “Make My Own Sunshine” is a fitting reflection of her own sunny personality and sugary sweet outlook.

The upbeat tune is the soundtrack as Lane drives through Nashville, describing all of the things that have gone wrong already that day: running late, dead phone, getting lost … just to name a few. But Lane remains perky with a smile on her face as she sings about the mishaps, featured in front of a wall with a cute umbrella drawn on it in chalk.

The singer walks around Music City helping others, taking a family's photo, buying replacement coffee for an unfortunate man who spilled his and helping an elderly woman cross the street. Lane bounces through the streets bringing joy to others, declaring that the day’s blunders don’t determine her mood — she makes her own sunshine.

Co-written by Lane, “Make My Own Sunshine" is the artist's new single from Big Spark Music Group. A promising star on the rise, the Texas native has been dubbed one of five Breaking Big artists by Entertainment Weekly and was named by Rolling Stone as one of the 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know. Her debut single, “Steal Me Away,” garnered national attention and put Lane in the ears of many country fans with its music video, which was chosen for CMT’s Listen Up Discovery Music Program in 2015.

She has toured select dates with several well known country names, including Wynonna Judd, Kip Moore and Randy Houser and her debut EP’s title track, "Love Thing,” premiered on Sirius XM’s Fresh Female Voices of Country Music.
