Country singer Patrick Thomas impressed the coaches on 'The Voice' with a rock-solid performance of Tim McGraw's hit single 'Live Like You Were Dying.'

The 20-year-old Nashville crooner told host Carson Daly that being on the show was a dream come true. "Making music has always been the most natural thing for me," remarked Thomas. "To me, being on 'The Voice' is the opportunity of a lifetime."

Sporting a white cowboy hat, Thomas sang a flawless rendition of McGraw's No. 1 country hit. Christina Aguilera was the only coach not to press the approval button, but she was impressed by Thomas' looks. "You're a cutie pie," she told the young contestant, before asking him to take his hat off. When he obliged, she joked, "Can you take your pants off?"

Blake Shelton told Thomas that he was best suited to coach him, explaining, "I have the avenues to make you a country star." Thomas ultimately agreed: "Because of the country connection, I gotta go with Blake," Thomas told the coaches. Shelton then raised his hands in the air, walked onstage and gave Thomas a big bear hug.
