Some of the top songwriters in country music gathered together with their famous friends to raise big money for their favorite charity.

The Peach Pickers consist of Dallas Davidson, Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip — three Georgia-born songwriters who have collectively written a staggering number of country hits over the years. They got together on May 12 at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville for their annual Georgia on My Mind benefit concert, which supports the Georgia Music Foundation.

This year's concert featured performances from the songwriters, as well as celebrity friends including Lauren Alaina, Lee Brice, Craig Campbell, Tyler Farr,Thomas Rhett, Maggie Rose and Four Wheel Drive (featuring Travis Denning, Jon Langston, Jordan Rager and Cole Taylor), as well as Drivin' N Cryin' frontman Kevn Kinney. The festivities also included an acoustic performance from Randy Houser, topped of by sets from ACM New Artist of the Year Cole Swindell and Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan.

Students from the James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils also delivered a high-energy performance at the benefit, which ended up raising more than $100,000 for the Georgia Music Foundation.

“Bringing together so many friends to play their hits and celebrate the music of Georgia at the Ryman was something special on its own,” says Davidson, who is chair of the foundation. “But watching the artists and the audience react as the J.A.M.P. kids tore up the stage was a proud moment for me. Everyone got to experience first-hand why we are raising money for the Georgia Music Foundation and why it is so important to support programs that give kids the opportunity to participate in music and learn about the music history of their home state.”
