Now that the 11th season has come to a close with Phillip Phillips as the 'American Idol' winner, it's time to look forward at how each contestants career will unfold. Skylar Laine shows the most potential to be country's next reality-television star-turned-Nashville-sensation.

Laine follows some big name talent, who had success immediately after the show ended. She may want to look backward before moving forward, however. Which country artist listed below do you think had the best debut single after his or her time on 'American Idol'?

Carrie Underwood is the only one whose debut single went to No. 1 on the airplay charts, although 'Inside Your Heaven' was a pop hit, not a country hit. Kellie Pickler, Bucky Covington and Casey James took longer to release their first singles, with James' 'Let's Don't Call It a Night' coming almost 18 months after his third place finish.

Also included are last year's finalists, Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, who both found success with first efforts at radio. Choose your favorite post 'American Idol' debut single from our list, or write in another in the comments section below.
