Disney is set to debut an innovative new country music platform during the 2015 CMA Awards on Nov. 4.

Radio Disney Country is set to launch exclusively on the Radio Disney App with an inaugural broadcast that is sure to make a big splash in country music circles. Hosted by Betsy Spina (Sirius XM’s The Highway), the first broadcast will originate from the red carpet of the 49th Annual CMA Awards.

Radio Disney Country will feature a mix of young artists and today’s biggest country stars, including Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes, Maddie & Tae, the Band Perry, Kelsea Ballerini, Danielle Bradbery, Lady Antebellum, Dan + Shay, RaeLynn and more. The content is aimed at a family-friendly slice of the country demographic.

In the video above, Ballerini recalls hearing her song for the first time on Radio Disney. "We were driving around, and we were listening to Radio Disney, and we were singing 'Let It Go,'" she shares with a laugh. "And the rep I was with, she said, 'What if your song comes on after 'Let It Go'? And it came on after 'Let It Go,' and we freaked out! It was the coolest thing. I grew up listening to Radio Disney. I'm such a Disney fan, so it's been a cool thing."

With more than 6 million downloads already via the Radio Disney app, Radio Disney Country is set to carve out a unique place in the country music market with fresh content that will include music videos, in-studio interviews and exclusive performances. Check it out at this link.
