He asked, and country’s RaeLynn said “yes!” The “For a Boy” singer is engaged to boyfriend Josh Davis, a guy she’s knowns since she was 18 years old.

RaeLynn shared her engagement story with US Weekly, explaining that Davis led her on a scavenger hunt before dropping to a knee with a ring in hand. The proposal happened on Monday (Oct. 12) at Belmont University in Nashville.

“He makes me better at everything I do,” the 21-year-old tells the magazine. “I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. Did that really just happen? Time to workout really hard to look good in that white dress.”

America first fell in love with RaeLynn during the second season of The Voice. She was on Team Blake, but was eliminated during the quarterfinals. She's since released three singles, including the Top 20 hit "God Made Girls." RaeLynn (born Racheal Lynn Woodward) has remained close to Shelton and his ex-wife Miranda Lambert.

Davis is a former pitcher in the Chicago Cubs minor league system. The 24-year-old attended Belmont University.
