Randy Houser has a heart as big as his voice. During a recent show in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the singer teamed up with Eckrich Meats to give military man James Jackson and his family a special surprise.

In the middle of a meet-and-greet opportunity, Houser presented Jackson and his family with a $1,000 gift card for groceries, courtesy of Eckrich.

The gift card and opportunity to meet one of country music's most staple names is part of Eckrich's Operation Inspriation campaign, which recognizes and honors military families through its partnership with Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit that offers emergency assistance to service members and wounded soldiers. In 2014, Houser began helping Eckrich honor military members and their families by recognizing them at his shows.

The country singer is an ardent supporter of the military and their families. In the past, he performed for soldiers stationed in Iraq and Maryland.

"Any time I can spend some of my time with a military family is special for me," Houser says in a press release. "These families have sacrificed so much so I can go out and perform and do what I love.  It was great to meet the Jackson family, hear their story and have them enjoy the concert courtesy of my partner, Eckrich."

Houser's newest single is "Like a Cowboy." Visit his official website to see his current tour schedule.
