Randy Montana has been added as to sing at the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 20. This is the season opening event to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the biggest stock car race in the world.

Montana will perform on the Coca-Cola Racing Family Stage before the race. He says, "Any time you can play in front of that many people, it’s good exposure. You just hope to bring home a few fans. We’ll hit it hard."

The man who often gets mistaken for NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon, Brad Paisley, will be at Daytona on Sunday as well. He is driving the official pace car, a Chevrolet Camaro SS. He will also perform three songs on the televised pre-race show. DIS President Joie Chitwood says, "It is only fitting to have one of the biggest country music superstars perform prior to NASCAR’s most prestigious event. Race fans are going to experience an exhilarating show that will only add to the excitement and pageantry that surrounds the Daytona 500.”

Daytona looks to be an all-country event, as Martina McBride has been chosen to sing the National Anthem before the race. The Daytona 500 pre-show stars at 11AM ET on FOX, and the race starts at 1PM ET.
