Randy Travis vs. Josh Thompson – The Showdown

Two country superstars clashed on Monday, and Randy Travis came out on top. 'Tonight I'm Playin' Possum,' his tribute to George Jones, took 60 percent of the vote to beat Brad Paisley's latest single. Today and tomorrow, the country legend will take on the latest from Josh Thompson. 

Thompson returns on a new record label, but his sound is one longtime fans can still depend on. 'Cold Beer With Your Name on It' is a no-frills love song that finds the singer doing what he does best. Fans are faithfully requesting the song on radio stations nationwide, but they'll need to add Showdown voting to their to-do lists to give this cut some extra exposure.
