Randy Travis rendered rising star Kane Brown momentarily speechless when he surprised him by showing up at an appearance on America's Morning Show, during which the young singer was taping a cover of one of Travis' biggest hits.

Travis posted the video above to Facebook with the caption, "Had so much fun surprising Kane Brown today at America's Morning Show! Such an incredible talent. Wishing you all the best!!"

The 2016 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee has been getting out and about quite a bit more lately, after putting in several years of work on recovering from a debilitating stroke he suffered in 2013 that took his ability to walk and talk. He stunned the industry at his recent induction ceremony by getting up to sing "Amazing Grace," and he is set to perform at the 2016 CMA Awards, where Brad Paisley will also take part in a tribute to him.

The clip shows Travis and his wife walking up the hall to the studio, and being ushered into the control room while Brown sings "Three Wooden Crosses" in the bigger room, unaware that the artist who made it iconic is actually present.

When he finally does see Travis, Brown abruptly cuts short his performance and jumps up, coming around to where Travis is standing and giving him a hug. He's clearly overjoyed to meet one of his own musical idols, looking around the room and saying, "This is crazy."

He then resumes his performance, but interrupts himself a minute later, looking around at Travis and saying, "I wish you could sit over here."

Once Travis is seated next to him, Brown continues the song, with the country legend listening intently and nodding in approval when Brown finishes. Brown still can't quite seem to believe that it's actually happening, repeating, "This is crazy," as everyone laughs. The staff of the show explain that they set the surprise up after seeing a video Brown posted online of himself singing the classic hit. Brown says he was introduced to Travis' music by his grandfather, once again adding that he can't believe he's there.

Covering classic country hits and turning them into viral sensations is actually how Brown launched his career, and he's used the fan base he built virally to land a deal and a hit of his own with "Used to Love You Sober." He is slated to release his debut full-length album on Dec. 2.
