Rascal Flatts traveled to Hartford, Conn., for their Rhythm and Roots Tour. On Aug. 13, the trio packed the Xfinity Theatre for a high-energy show, and Taste of Country has exclusive pictures.

The Rhythm and Roots Tour filled the Hartford venue with country fans on a Saturday night. Fans came early for Chris Lane. They needed to get their "Fix," and enjoyed a set that included the newcomer taking selfies with his fans. Next up was Kelsea Ballerini, who played her debut single, "Love Me Like You Mean It," and her most recent single, "Peter Pan," for an excited audience.

Flatts fans were ready when the group finally took the stage. It was intensely hot in the outdoor amphitheater for the show, which kicked off with the very appropriate "Summer Nights." The trio played "I Like the Sound of That," "Life Is a Highway," "Rewind" and "Fast Cars and Freedom," among other fan favorites. Flatts also blended Journey's "Open Arms" with "Bless the Broken Road," a mix they dedicated to Prince.
