Eric Church's latest single, "Like a Wrecking Ball," has entered the Showdown Hall of Fame after winning its fifth straight victory. Now we start with a fresh slate as two of country's most important female performers square off in a new battle.

Reba McEntire is one of the most groundbreaking and highest-selling women in country music history, with a list of hits that spans decades and transcends all radio trends. She recently signed a new deal with Nash Icon, which will release a new album, Love Somebody, in April. The first single from that album is "Going Out Like That," which sees McEntire keeping pace with contemporary country with distorted guitars and a feisty attitude.

Ashley Monroe's last album, Like a Rose, was one of the most critically acclaimed releases of 2013. Co-produced by Vince Gill, the album adhered to traditional country sounds and textures while exploring some edgier subject matter from the perspective of a modern woman. She returns with "On to Something Good," the lead single from a forthcoming album. The new single finds Monroe in a happier frame of mind that also ought to play better at contemporary radio.
