Reba McEntire will team up with Brooks & Dunn for what is sure to be a standout performance at the upcoming 2015 CMA Awards.

The flame-haired superstar broke the news on her Twitter feed on Wednesday (Oct. 28).

The two superstar acts already worked together in a Las Vegas residency billed as Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas, which kicked off in June at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. They have since added a date in December, followed by the announcement that they've extended the run into 2016 by adding dates this coming May.

So far there's no information as to what the trio might perform on the CMA Awards, which are set to air on Nov. 4. But given the fan interest in their residency — which sold out quickly — it's likely to be one of the most viral moments of the evening.

McEntire returned with a new album, Love Somebody, in 2015 as the first signing to Nash Icon Records, and Ronnie Dunn recently released "Ain't No Trucks in Texas," the lead single from an album that he will also release via that label. The Vegas shows marked the first time that he and Kix Brooks had performed together in public since calling it quits in 2010, but they insist there was no animosity between them.

“There was never a rift,” Ronnie Dunn says. “We [broke up] because we’d been doing it for over 20 years and felt like we’d accomplished everything that we could.”
