It takes a lot of planning and hard work to put together a top-notch Vegas show, from music, to lighting, to sets. But Reba McEntire has one priority above all else for her upcoming run at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace: the wardrobe.

A show in Vegas is not just any show. It has to be particularly flashy and eye-catching to keep up with the city’s outrageous vibe. McEntire is keenly aware of this and says that she has spent a significant portion of her time planning what she will wear — particularly for one of her classic tunes.

“I think I’ve spent more time on the ‘Fancy’ dress than anything else — more than the set list,” she says, according to Big Machine.

McEntire knows that to impress an audience in Sin City you’ve got to bring your A-game.

“I love to razzle dazzle,” McEntire furthers. “That’s Vegas! You don’t come in here with an everyday outfit. When you go to Vegas you want to see sequins. You want to see sparkle. If I was going, that’s what I’d like to see, so that’s what I’m gonna be puttin’ on.”

McEntire's Vegas residency begins June 17, 2015 and also features dynamic duo Brooks and Dunn. The fiery redhead is continuing to rehearse for the show and was recently nominated for a CMT Music Award for her video "Going Out Like That" in the Female Video of the Year category.
