Country music legend Reba McEntire took the CMT Music Awards stage for the first time in 10 years in a blaze of purple light Wednesday night (June 10) looking as on-fire as ever, and not just because of her iconic tresses.

McEntire took ownership of the enormous stage without missing a beat, showing fans of all ages how it’s done. Her voice was pitch-perfect and powerful as she effortlessly performed the lead single from her new Love Somebody album, the dance-worthy “Going Out Like That,” an anthem of female empowerment. The iconic singer-songwriter was clearly enjoying being back in the saddle at the CMT Awards — she performed with pure joy and wowed new and old fans alike.

McEntire is the first legendary act to be signed to Nash Icon Music, a new imprint of Big Machine Records, announced in 2014. Love Somebody is her 27th studio album and was released via Nash Icon on April 14, 2015.
