10 Pics That Prove Reba McEntire Does Throwback Thursday Best

Reba McEntire is extremely active on social media, and she frequently gifts her followers with gems of the Throwback Thursday variety. The red-haired legend has shared everything from her son Shelby’s newborn pics to shots from performances past, and they’re all awesome, just like the hairstyles she’s sported over the years.

The “Fancy” singer was ‘discovered’ in college after performing the National Anthem at an Oklahoma rodeo, and then she moved to Nashville. In 1975, McEntire signed a contract with Mercury Records, releasing her debut album in 1977. Most folks also haven’t seen a photo of her holding her infant son, Shelby Blackstock, while still in the delivery room, but it’s here among these images. Thanks to these Throwback Thursday pictures, fans get to know McEntire just a little better (and also see George Strait do an epic photobomb). Check out the gallery above to see exactly why she’s Reba is the best at throwin’ it back.
