Garth Brooks was one of a number of country stars to endorse a popular soda in the early to mid-00s, and he even tweaked one of his hit songs to fit the spot. 'Be You,' a song he recorded for this Dr. Pepper commercial is melodically similar to 'Wrapped Up in You,' a track from the 'Scarecrow' album. It's one of at least two personal ads he filmed for the beverage company.

Quality video of the late-2001 or early-2002 commercial is difficult to come by, but you can hear clear audio of the song here. His three daughters would also star in a more subtle spot for the soda, giving fans a rare glimpse into his private life. That commercial can be viewed below.

LeAnn Rimes and Reba McEntire also starred in an ad during the Be You campaign. The fun 30-second spot resembles the movie 'Thelma and Louise,' although no one drives off a cliff in the end (spoiler alert). A long list of musicians from numerous genres were part of the campaign, with Brooks' participation being the most notable.
