Linda Davis had a successful solo career before teaming up with Reba McEntire for the Grammy and CMA Award-winning hit, ‘Does He Love You.’ Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott was just seven-years-old when her mom cut the music video. Imagine the little girl’s horror when towards the end of the video the devious character, played by McEntire, kills her mom with an unexpected explosion!
The video is also notable for it’s costuming. Sure, articles like Davis’ turquoise blazer are going to look dated because they are, but can anyone remember McEntire’s Egyptian head wrap ever being en vogue? Thankfully, Scott has always been on the cutting edge of country style.
