Perhaps a sign of country music's ever-increasing popularity is the inclusion of Nashville stars in many of the most recent inaugurations. Brad Paisley and Kelly Clarkson are ready to help usher in the second term for President Barack Obama, but do you remember who was there in January 2009? And which stars welcomed President Bush in January 2001?

Garth Brooks' version of 'We Shall Be Free' from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial was one of the musical highlights of the current president's last inauguration. Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles also performed during events, as did James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen and more.

For George W. Bush, it was Brooks and Dunn. The country duo joined Wayne Newton and Ricky Martin at the mid-winter party. President Clinton wasn't as generous to Nashville's top stars. Bob Dylan was the signature act during his inaugurations.
