Before Ricky Skaggs became one of the most celebrated bluegrass musicians in history, the Kentucky native catered to a more radio-friendly sound, racking up 10 No. 1 country singles. That includes the 1983 chart-topping track that takes the No. 88 slot on our Top 100 Country Love Songs countdown, 'I Wouldn't Change You if I Could.'

"I always want to try to promote the old music, as well as trying to grow, and be a pioneer too," Skaggs says of his unique blend of traditional country and bluegrass music. In total, Skaggs earned an 14 Grammy Awards from his first win in 1983.
