Country Music Mug Shots – Rodney Atkins

Rodney Atkins may look better in his mug shot than any other country artist who has been jailed. This photo was taken after his November 2011 arrest, in which he was charged with domestic assault. His wife, Tammy, claimed that the singer attempted to smother her with a pillow and grabbed her by the face to throw her down the hallway.

News of the incident didn't break until weeks later, when divorce papers were already filed. In early February 2012, the charges were cleared and Atkins' record expunged after he was assessed for anger management and alcohol and drug use, which he passed. He denied his wife's accusations.
