Rodney Atkins and his wife Rose Falcon celebrated the Fourth of July with some very special news. The couple turned to social media to reveal that they are expecting a child!

Both Atkins and Falcon shared the same photo of themselves smiling and snuggling outside to his and her Instagram accounts, along with the caption, "Happy Fourth of July! We are thrilled to announce our family is growing. Baby Atkins will arrive in December and we know Elijah is going to be the best big brother."

Adkins and Falcon married in an intimate ceremony in Florida in 2013 at which Elijah was the best man. Elijah is Atkins' son from a previous marriage that ended in 2012. This will be their first child together. Atkins and Falcon have not revealed the sex of the child they are expecting.

Adkins is best-known for hits including "If You're Going Through Hell," "These Are My People," "Cleaning This Gun" and "Watching You." He released his most recent full-length studio album, Take a Back Road, in 2011. His most recent single was 2014's "Eat Sleep Love You Repeat," from his Greatest Hits album in 2014. Falcon is a singer-songwriter best known for cuts by Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Eric Paslay and Jessie James Decker.
