Ronnie Dunn eked by Gloriana last week. His new song 'Let the Cowboy Rock' was chosen over the new country trio's '(Kissed You) Good Night,' meaning it will move on to face a new Taste of Country Showdown challenger this week. The road ahead only promises to get more difficult for Dunn, with a number of superstars planning releases in February.

Sugarland recorded 'Run' for Matt Nathanson's 'Modern Love' album, but debuted a country version of the collaboration at the CMA Awards in November. Last week, they released a music video of that performance. The bad-for-me love song is a nice treat for fans anxious to hear a follow up to songs from 'Incredible Machine.'

Dunn's 'Let the Cowboy Rock' is all sweat and guitars. The uptempo rocker shows the country legend still has plenty of fire left in him. It's the third single from his self-titled solo album, released last year. Listen to both songs and decide which you prefer. You can only vote once per computer, but feel free to convince friends and family to vote as well. Voting ends at 11:59PM ET on Monday, Feb. 20, and the winner will be announced next Tuesday.

Showdown Rules: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and winner goes on to face next week’s challenger. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, he or she will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete.
