This Father's Day, Rory Feek celebrated being a dad to his three girls. But among the festivities, someone was missing: his late wife, Joey.

This year marked Feek's first Father's Day following the loss of his wife. The country singer turned to Facebook to express his thoughts and share two photos from his Sunday festivities.

His first snapshot featured himself surrounded by his three daughters, as well as family and friends.

"...three fathers and their families. Had a wonderful time having dinner at Homestead Manor this eve, but so wish Joey could be w us," he captioned the picture.

The second picture showcased him and his three daughters. He is holding his youngest, Indiana, whom he had with Joey, while his oldest two, Heidi and Hope, are standing close. They are from a previous relationship, but Joey raised them as if they were her own children.

They are outside a movie theater, after apparently going to see Finding Dory.

This is the second parent's holiday Feek has had to celebrate without his wife. On Mother's Day of this year, he penned his late wife a 'Happy Mother's Day' wish.

“Though my beautiful wife sleeps in a bed of clover behind our farmhouse, we still celebrate her on this special day and lift her up and give her flowers,” Feek writes. “This is not my day. It is hers. Joey loved being a mother more than anything else in the world.  And she is still Indy’s mama. And Heidi’s and Hopie’s. Thank you for the beautiful gift my love. Happy Mothers Day, Joey.”
