Singer-songwriter Sarah Buxton is not only enjoying life toward the top of the country singles charts these days (she is a co-writer on Keith Urban's smash, 'Put You in a Song'), but she is still floating high from the bliss and happiness from her November wedding.

"The wedding was awesome," Buxton reveals exclusively to Taste of Country. "It was really fun. It was a party."

Buxton and boyfriend Tom Bukovac said "I do" on Nov. 20 in Nashville at the Cannery Ballroom, which set the scene for a picture-perfect day.

Unlike most celebrity weddings, Buxton opted out from hiring a wedding planner for the big day. "I did all of the planning myself on the road with my wireless card!" she beams proudly.

Buxton's hubby is a highly sought after session guitarist in Nashville who is currently working on the forthcoming Martina McBride album. Between their busy schedules and the holidays, no honeymoon has taken place, but Buxton has a plan for that, too.

"Every year in Australia, they have this huge country music festival they have down there, so we decided to base our honeymoon around that trip," Buxton says. "We’re going to go up to the Whitsunday Islands and just chill!"

Congratulations and best wishes to Buxton and Bukovac!
