Scandal of the Year – 2012 Taste of Country Awards

Taste of Country Awards 2012
Taste of Country

Was 2012 a good year or a bad year for country music scandals? There certainly were a lot of them, from Randy Travis‘ legal troubles and multiple arrests, to Eric Church‘s incendiary comments about reality television shows. There was also that time Jason Aldean got caught in a double dribble with a dancer from the Charlotte Bobcats NBA team. Which of this year’s country music scandals did you find to be the most shocking?

Jake Owen made headlines in 2012 following brief detainment, which he received for putting a mask on outside of a Florida Steak ‘N Shake, while Luke Bryan‘s dependance on a cheat sheet to get through the National Anthem surprised us, and Ashton Kutcher’s attempt to impress country music fans at the ACM Awards left a bad taste in many people’s mouths. That turned into a fiasco and brief feud with Miranda Lambert, which was quite scandalous. Did another story drop your jaw further? Let us know in the comments section below.
