Scotty McCreery vs. Casey James – The Showdown

Scotty McCreery could have a new song in the Showdown Hall of Fame by week's end if he keeps it up. Or, more accurately, if his fans keep it up. McCreerians stormed the polls to push 'See You Tonight' past the new song from Tate Stevens on Friday and through the weekend. Today they'll battle another group of 'American Idol' fans. 

Casey James has released 'The Good Life' as the third single from his debut album. The uptempo, feel-good country song preaches the pleasure of the little things in life. This Texan has a loyal fan base as well; this Showdown will determine who's fans are the most devoted.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
