We know what you're thinking: What took so long, right? Good decisions take time, and both Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina have decided it's time to ink on a management deal.

Apparently, the pair have been scooped up by the well-equipped XIX Entertainment. McCreery's rep is Ann Edelblute, who is also Carrie Underwood's manager. Michelle Young, who's also David Cook's manager, will tackle Alaina's day-to-day scheduling.

As for the rest of the 'American Idol' Top 11, they have been picked up by Red Light Management. Recently, Ryan Seacrest caught up with the Season 10 group while they were busy rehearsing for the American Idols Live Tour, which kicks off next month. We say busy lightly, because mid-rehearsal they were caught churning out a harmonious version of Cee Lo's 'Forget You,' which we suppose could wind up as a cover on the road.

The stars of the show, McCreery and Alaina, have made recent mention of a possible duet in the future. For now, they're busy working on their debut albums -- separately. Both McCreery's debut single 'I Love You This Big' and Alaina's 'Like My Mother Does' have seen great chart success in just a few weeks, so we know this partnership with XIX Entertainment will only send them further into the sky.
