'American Idol' winner Scotty McCreery's new song, 'The Trouble with Girls,' is now available for download. The song is McCreery's second single from his upcoming 'Clear as Day' album, and is available at iTunes and Amazon. He says it's one of his favorites from the album, which is in stores October 4.

“Right off the bat when I heard it," McCreery says in a press release, "I told my mom when we were listening to the demo, ‘This is the kind of song when you are in the kitchen doing dishes that makes you stop what you are doing and listen to it.’ It struck a chord with me and I knew it was something I wanted to put on the album.”

The 17-year-old then went on to test the song on his older sister. “It’s a really sweet song,” he says. “I played it for my sister and I said, ‘Would you like to hear what’s said in this song?’ She said, ‘I would love to have a guy say some of this stuff to me.’

McCreery finishes up the American Idols Live Tour this month, and then he'll begin making radio and television appearances to promote his new album. After that, he plans to go back to school. In a recent interview, the singer says he's hoping to return to Garner High School for his senior year.
